2. Virtualization - ability to virtual apps and hardware systems - you could run different programmes on different operating systems on your computer. VMware (13:43)
3. Graph - a network of things that are connected together. They represent knowledge. Not only as collections of facts but as patterns of connectiveness. GitHub, Blockchain (17:52)
4. Distributed Resources - the same piece of content can be in multiple locations at the same time.Content delivery networks (CDN) Torrents. Content addressable resources for education - coined by Stephen Downes Credentials and digital badges are also similar. (24:38)
cloud + decentralisation + virtualisation = access to complex technical resources on any computer (the power is not the computer)
5. Consensus - deciding what the single source of truth (32:56)
6. Digital Identity - decentralised identifiers (DID) Moving from how we prove who we are to how we define ourselves online (39:56)
7. Creative Experiences - immersive and experiential such as mentorship and apprenticeship. Digital experiences allow to share experiences (47:52)
8. Recognition - helping learners to create a profile rather than providing all learners with the same set of skills.(51:49)
9. Agency - giving learners agency. How much and what does success look like (57:27)
10. Infrastructure - We are dealing with reorganisation official infrastructure - there are tensions scientific, environmental, media etc.(59:29)
